Chrismont incorporates the winery and cellar door operations in Cheshunt, in addition to estate vineyards located in Cheshunt & Whitfield. The beautiful, undulating property in the heart of the agriculturally rich and diverse King Valley was dedicated initially to tobacco production in the 1960’s. Arnie with his father Arnold transitioned the property to wine grape production in the late 1970’s.

Over the almost 30 years since then, the King Valley and Chrismont vineyards have become synonymous with the production of high quality wine grapes for red, white, and sparkling wine. Of particular interest to the region, and indeed Chrismont, are the plantings of traditional Italian varieties in the area.

Chrismont’s wines are designed to drink any day, at any time, for any occasion; to celebrate life’s many moments, be they grand and one-off, or something simple and everyday. Good food, good friends and good wine—make that Chrismont wine—the perfect combination to celebrate each moment.

The atmosphere in the King Valley is wonderfully relaxed and friendly making it a perfect setting to hold regular events to which we invite our favourite guests—you.

There is no doubt that the King Valley is blessed as a location for grape growing. At Gracebrook vineyards we have been able to match our varieties to separate vineyard sites to maximize the potential we have here in the Valley.

Fresh aromatic Riesling, rich fruity Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and spicy Sangiovese all reflect the fruit-driven wine style for which the King Valley has become famous.

Traditional winemaking techniques ensure that quality is uncompromised, varieties retain their ripe berry characters and their rich soft structures. High quality French oak barrels are used for both Chardonnay and the red varieties.

We have a range of home-style meals that are made from estate grown and locally sourced produce, such as pumpkin soup as well as estate grown pork and beef dishes to warm you up during the cooler season.

Come the warmer months we have our popular Farmer’s Feast grazing platter and cheese and fruit platter featuring some of the district’s cheeses.

We offer a selection of sumptuous desserts and the finest quality coffee and assorted beverages. These delights and light lunches are available seven days a week for your enjoyment.

A wedding reception at Brown Brothers will be enjoyed within the romantic backdrop of our beautiful Milawa Winery.

We offer a variety of wedding packages to suit the style of wedding you desire.

Established in 1885, Brown Brothers Milawa vineyard offers a unique choice of settings for your wedding ceremony.

Adjacent to the Cellar Door at Milawa, Patricia’s Table is located in the Epicurean Centre where you and your guests will enjoy a personalised menu of dishes created with local produce to complement the range of Brown Brothers wines.

The restaurant has been awarded one star in the Australian Gourmet Traveller 2013 Restaurant Awards and rated 14.5 out of 20 by The Age Good Food Guide 2013. Head chef Douglas Elder is passionate about using fresh, local produce. Our menu is changed regularly to reflect availability of the freshest produce. We will work with you to design a menu that is perfect for your style of wedding.

The Oxley vineyard and Sam Miranda Cellar Door rests by the lovely creek bed of the King river which is fed by the melting winter snow that covers the Victorian High Plains from June to September. The site is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot and posseses rich soils and a cool climate allowing for long ripening periods which produces medium bodied wines that express the fresh and elegant characteristics that the region is renowned for.

As you enter a subterranean passage which leads you to our tasting area, you will experience the feeling of entering an underground cellar, streaming with light from the forty foot light tower that stands sentinel above you.

Taste the world in a glass and embark on a journey through our range of rare and mainstream varietals hailing from Italy, Spain, France and Russia. Tantalise your taste buds with crisp whites and rich earthy reds.

Our expansive terrace area is the perfect place to relax, enjoy our wines and treat yourself to seasonal local produce from the kitchen or the finest coffee. In the winter, take advantage of our cosy and relaxed atmosphere and enjoy a glass of your favourite red by the fireplace.

Established in 1989, Wood Park Wines now has an enviable reputation for the production of award-winning wines in a variety of styles – including sparkling, whites, reds and sweet/fortified wines – while utilising environmentally friendly, minimal chemical use production techniques.

Located in the picturesque King Valley, King River Estate was established in 1990 when Trevor Knaggs and father Colin planted the first vines on the Estate.

Traditional French varieties were planted first but now there are also alternative varieties such as Vermentino, Lagrein, Sagrantino and Saperavi.

The vineyard is managed using biodynamic practices which makes the estate sustainable and preserves the land for future generations. In the winery we also use minimal intervention in the wine making process such as using wild yeast (natural ferments), which allows the wine to show its true personality.

Biodynamic agriculture is a method of farming that emphasises the holistic development and the interrelating relationships of the soil, plants and the animals as a self sustaining system. It excludes the use of artificial chemicals on soils and plants.

Set at the base of the alpine ranges, our vineyard is known for its outstanding terrior. Unique topography, free-draining red-granite soils and meticulous vineyard management combine to produce grapes of excessive colour and intense character. Overlooking the upper reaches of the spectacular King Valley, Politini Wines is a family business focused on producing small quantities of elegant, fruit-driven cool climate wines.

Our wine making philosophy revolves around letting the vineyard speak for itself and capturing the grape in the bottle.

The King Valley region is blessed with beautiful landscapes, fantastic local produce and a rich history of Italian migrant culture. It is one of Australia’s most important regions for cool climate and Italian varietal wines.
