A wedding reception at Brown Brothers will be enjoyed within the romantic backdrop of our beautiful Milawa Winery.

Established in 1885, Brown Brothers Milawa vineyard offers a unique choice of settings for your wedding ceremony.

Adjacent to the Cellar Door at Milawa, Patricia’s Table is located in the Epicurean Centre where you and your guests will enjoy a personalised menu of dishes created with local produce to complement the range of Brown Brothers wines.

The restaurant has been awarded one star in the Australian Gourmet Traveller 2013 Restaurant Awards and rated 14.5 out of 20 by The Age Good Food Guide 2013. Head chef Douglas Elder is passionate about using fresh, local produce. Our menu is changed regularly to reflect availability of the freshest produce. We will work with you to design a menu that is perfect for your style of wedding.

The Oxley vineyard and Sam Miranda Cellar Door rests by the lovely creek bed of the King river which is fed by the melting winter snow that covers the Victorian High Plains from June to September. The site is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot and posseses rich soils and a cool climate allowing for long ripening periods which produces medium bodied wines that express the fresh and elegant characteristics that the region is renowned for.

As you enter a subterranean passage which leads you to our tasting area, you will experience the feeling of entering an underground cellar, streaming with light from the forty foot light tower that stands sentinel above you.

Taste the world in a glass and embark on a journey through our range of rare and mainstream varietals hailing from Italy, Spain, France and Russia. Tantalise your taste buds with crisp whites and rich earthy reds.

Our expansive terrace area is the perfect place to relax, enjoy our wines and treat yourself to seasonal local produce from the kitchen or the finest coffee. In the winter, take advantage of our cosy and relaxed atmosphere and enjoy a glass of your favourite red by the fireplace.
