Blue Pyrenees – then called Chateau Remy – was established in Western Victoria in 1963 by Remy Martin. French eccentricity was the hallmark of the Estate and the brand’s creation. In 2002 the Estate was purchased by a group of Australian wine-passionate businessmen. Eccentricity, with a New World twist, is guaranteed to continue with a new, innovative management and winemaking team at Blue Pyrenees Estate.

Warrenmang Vineyard and Resort nestled in the Moonambel Valley 2 hours North West of Melbourne has been for many years, a hidden treasure for enthusiasts of fine food and wine. Now it seems the world is discovering the jewels of Central Victoria.

In addition to being a successful commercial Winery, selling wines both in Australia and overseas Warrenmang Vineyard Resort is also the home of a premier Resort and Conference Venue with an Award Winning Restaurant and Accommodation.

The resort overlooks flourishing vines, across a vast treed valley to distant purple mountains known as The Pyrenees.

At dusk or early morning dozens of kangaroos come out of the bush to drink at the waterholes and native bird life abounds.

Set high on a hill, overlooking the vineyards and valleys of the Pyrenees, Warrenmang Vineyard Restaurant has become one of country Victoria’s favourite dining locations. When Luigi and Athalie Bazzani built the restaurant in 1988 they knew that guests would find it hard to leave the warm inviting atmosphere and the wonderful surrounds, so they built a little village of cottages where guests could retire after enjoying the pleasures of the restaurant.

Service in the restaurant is friendly but highly professional and the atmosphere is extremely relaxing.

Most guests enjoy dressing smartly for the evening dining experience. Lunchtimes are more casual and the menu changes to a lighter, a-la-carte selection, so that guests can choose from a different range of dishes.

For those wishing to eat in the great outdoors, lunch can be served by the pool or alternatively, Warrenmang’s Chefs will enjoy packing a delicious picnic hamper bulging with tempting goodies.

Quoin Hill Vineyard is a family run operation established in 1997, situated on 46 acres of volcanic soil at an elevation of 520 metres making it the highest and also the southern most vineyard in the Pyrenees Wine Region.



Only 20 minutes from Ballarat and overlooking the Pyrenees Ranges, Quoin Hill Vineyard is a “must visit” location. With a rustic cellar door, cafe and amazing views, Quoin Hill caters for a relaxing lunch and tasting afternoon. Lunchtime only, weekends and most public holidays.

There are 8 acres of vines at present made up of 5 varieties, being Shiraz, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Tempranillo and Pinot Noir. All wine is made from Estate grown grapes. The first vintage was 2001, of which Shiraz and Chardonnay were produced. Both of these wines were awarded Wine Show medals.

The renovated chaff mill/stables which were built approximately 100yrs ago at ‘Quoin Hill’ have now been transformed into the winery and tasting rooms. To regain the character of the original building, the timbers in the tasting room are recycled baltic pine from the chaff mill walls and floor with Australian hardwood posts and stays cut from the nearby Lexton forest. The room enjoys a vista overlooking the vineyard and Pyrenees Ranges and with seating of up to 120 can be hired for functions and conferences. Light lunches on weekends and most public holidays are available, functions and conferences by prior arrangement. Fine Dining also available for group bookings.
