The Great Western winery was founded by Joseph Best in 1865. He commissioned local gold miners to tunnel the underground cellars that became known as Drives. The winery was later purchased by Ballarat businessman Hans Irvine, who produced Australia’s first sparkling Shiraz wine. Benno Seppelt took ownership of the winery in 1918 and put Great Western on the map with magnificent sparkling and exceptional table wines, particularly Shiraz.

Blue Pyrenees – then called Chateau Remy – was established in Western Victoria in 1963 by Remy Martin. French eccentricity was the hallmark of the Estate and the brand’s creation. Heathcote Winery’s Cellar Door and Winery are uniquely positioned in the main street of Heathcote. The Cellar Door and adjacent Art Gallery are housed in a restored miners produce store built by Thomas Craven in 1854 to cater for the huge influx of gold miners seeking their fortune.

The winery produced its first vintage in 1981 and now specialises in the production of Shiraz and Viognier reflective of the Heathcote Region but distinctly Heathcote Winery. Shiraz is the cornerstone of Heathcote Winery’s premium wine production, including the highly acclaimed Mail Coach Shiraz and flagship Curagee Shiraz.

Visitors to cellar door may enjoy free wine tastings and a selection of regional gourmet items. Heathcote Winery Galleria serves seasonal fare during the day from Thursday to Sunday. Or just relax and unwind with a glass of wine in our sheltered rustic courtyard.

Rochford in Yarra Valley Victoria is excited to announce the launch of their new-look dining – Isabella’s at Rochford.

Isabella’s at Rochford incorporates the current Rochford restaurant, café and alfresco areas into one exciting dining space – open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week.

Isabella’s at Rochford is the perfect place to bring family and friends; you can celebrate birthdays and anniversaries or enjoy a glass of Rochford’s renowned cool-climate wine and a bite to eat from the great cafe or restaurant menu.

Located between the working vineyard and the hotel, Lindenderry’s Cellar Door welcomes you on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 11am through to 5pm. Food is served in the Cellar Door from 11am to 4pm.
