Warrenmang Vineyard and Resort nestled in the Moonambel Valley 2 hours North West of Melbourne has been for many years, a hidden treasure for enthusiasts of fine food and wine. Now it seems the world is discovering the jewels of Central Victoria.
In addition to being a successful commercial Winery, selling wines both in Australia and overseas Warrenmang Vineyard Resort is also the home of a premier Resort and Conference Venue with an Award Winning Restaurant and Accommodation.
The resort overlooks flourishing vines, across a vast treed valley to distant purple mountains known as The Pyrenees.
At dusk or early morning dozens of kangaroos come out of the bush to drink at the waterholes and native bird life abounds.
Set high on a hill, overlooking the vineyards and valleys of the Pyrenees, Warrenmang Vineyard Restaurant has become one of country Victoria’s favourite dining locations. When Luigi and Athalie Bazzani built the restaurant in 1988 they knew that guests would find it hard to leave the warm inviting atmosphere and the wonderful surrounds, so they built a little village of cottages where guests could retire after enjoying the pleasures of the restaurant.
Service in the restaurant is friendly but highly professional and the atmosphere is extremely relaxing.
Most guests enjoy dressing smartly for the evening dining experience. Lunchtimes are more casual and the menu changes to a lighter, a-la-carte selection, so that guests can choose from a different range of dishes.
For those wishing to eat in the great outdoors, lunch can be served by the pool or alternatively, Warrenmang’s Chefs will enjoy packing a delicious picnic hamper bulging with tempting goodies.
